Dust Collection Container

Alwas use the dust collection container (3). The container is attached to
the dust flange with an bayonet latch. To empty the container separate
the top and bottom shells. The filter in the upper shell should be
cleaned by knocking and be replaced regularly.
Turning ON and OFF
WARNING: When operating the sander always wear suitable personal
protective equipment.
Use the ON/OFF switch (1) to turn the sander on and off.
While working with the sander make sure the ventilation slots (4) are
not covered.

Service

WARNING: Always disconnect from the mains power supply, before
carrying out any maintenance/cleaning of the charger. Remove the
battery before carrying out any maintenance/cleaning of the sander.
Note: Both the sander and the charger contain no user-serviceable
parts. If the device does not perform as outlined in this manual, turn to
the Westfalia customer service or to a competent professional.

General Inspection

 Regularly check that all the fixing screws are tight.
 Inspect the supply cord of the charger for damage or wear prior to
each use. Repairs should be carried out by an authorised service
centre. This advice also applies to extension cords used with this
tool.

Battery Disposal

1. Run motor until the battery is completely discharged.
2. For removing the battery.
3. Wrap heavy insulating tape around the battery terminals or enclose
in a sealable plastic bag to prevent possible shorting.
4. Dispose of the battery through your local waste removal authority.
