ASC switched off

Possible cause:
The ASC system has been deac-
tivated by the rider.
Switch ASC on.
ASC error
ASC indicator and warning

Possible cause:
The ASC control unit has de-
tected an error. The ASC func-
tion is not available.
It remains possible to continue
riding. It must be noted that
the ASC function is not avail-
able. You should also take ac-
count of the additional informa-
tion on situations that can lead
to an ASC fault (
Have the malfunction corrected
as soon as possible at an au-
thorized workshop, preferably
an authorized BMW Motorrad
retailer.
ESA error
shows yellow.

Possible cause:
The ESA control unit has
detected an error. Motorcycle
damping is in this condition
very firm and riding is rather
uncomfortable - in particular on
rough roads.
Have the malfunction corrected

All locks in the central locking
system are locked.
The gear has not been
programmed
with Pro shift assistant
The gear indicator flashes.
The shift assistant Pro has

Possible cause:
with Pro shift assistant
The gear sensor has not been
fully programmed.

Engage idle and let the en-
gine run for at least 10 sec-
onds while standing to program
the idle gear.
Shift through all gears by op-
erating the clutch and ride in
