Commissioning

Observe EN 12056-4 for the commissioning.
Always avoid the pumps running dry (air is drawn in) for longer periods (> 30 seconds). The pumps can become dam-
aged.
Never switch on the pump if the system tank is not filled at least up to the minimum level.
6.1
Commissioning the system
Switch position ON
If the inlet is through one of the pre-scored areas rather than via the inlet connection, check the level for switch position ON
and adjust if necessary.
Ensure that the bottom edge of the inlet is 360 mm maximum above the bottom of the tank. If it is higher, then set the
determined dimension in menu item 3.1.12.
Pump post run time
Depending on the system configuration and length/diameter of the pressure pipe, a different post run time than the factory
setting may be required.
Functional check
Visual inspection through the opening in the cleaning cover:
Ensure that the level in the tank after pumping out the
water is at least 1 cm (A) below the immersion pipe (1)
(pressure sensor).
The immersion pipe must be vented during every pump-
ing sequence.
To prevent dry running of the pump, increase the post run
time by a factor of 1 only each time.
Increase the post run time via the control unit settings menu
if necessary, and then check again.
Carry out a functional check of the system in interaction
with the control unit.
Refer to the operating and maintenance instructions of
the control unit.
