The meter has built-in messages to alert you of problems. When error messages
appear, note the error number. Turn off the meter and then follow these instructions.

Troubleshooting Guide

Causes
Replace the battery.
If the meter has been exposed to or stored
in cold conditions, wait 30 minutes. Allow
the meter to reach room temperature then
repeat the test.
Remove the battery for 30 seconds and
then put the battery back and turn meter
on again.
If the problem persists, please contact
your local distributor.
If a cell phone, radio frequency source or
a high power electrical source is nearby,
place more distance between the meter
and any of these sources then retest.
If the problem persists, please contact
your local distributor.
Repeat the test and ensure that the test
strip remains in place.
Repeat the test and apply the sample after
the blood drop/test strip symbol appears.
Repeat the test with a new test strip.
