Mounting the self-contained servo-
hydraulic linear axis (piston rod) to
the customer equipment

Hydraulic installation
1.
Mount the piston rod of the self-contained servo-hydraulic linear axis to
the customer equipment taking account of the notes and mounting in‐
structions in this chapter.
The mounting faces have to be clean and free from contamina‐
tion.
2.
Use suitable mounting screws (strength class 10.9). Refer to the instal‐
lation drawing for the required information.
3.
Ensure that the mounting screws are tightened to the specified tighten‐
ing torque according to VDI 2230. Tighten the screws alternately cross‐
wise using a suitable torque wrench.
Since the self-contained servo-hydraulic linear axis is a self-con‐
tained system, the customer needs not to provide any hydraulic
interface. All work (adjustment work, inspection for leakage, etc.)
is performed by Bosch Rexroth before dispatch.
