DEPLOYMENT OF BLITZFORCE PORTABLE MONITOR
It is the responsibility of the individual fire department or agency to determine physical capabilities and suitability for an individual's use
of this equipment. Operators of this equipment shall have completed a course of training approved by the Authority Having Jurisdiction
(AHJ).
5.1
CARRYING WITH AN UNCHARGED HOSE
On a preconnected hose line the monitor may be carried by the T-shaped handle or over the shoulder with the legs folded as illustrated.
5.2
CARRYING WITH A CHARGED HOSE
On a charged hose the BlitzForce Portable Monitor may be carried by holding the T-shaped handle located on top of valve body as
shown. Shut-off valve handle should be locked in the closed position to keep the valve from inadvertently opening.
