General safety instructions

Danger of poisoning by escaping gas
Tighten the threaded joints at the gas connections with a suitable open-ended wrench.
Observe the installation instructions of the connection manufacturer. In the process, make
sure that you counter properly. Otherwise, there is a danger that the gas path will leak.
Feeding of gases with flammable components → devices in standard version
Do not use a standard version of the analyzer in hazardous areas. Supply gases with
flammable components at concentrations above the lower explosion limit (LEL) only in
devices with pipes.
Sample gases with flammable components → gas fume-proof devices
Only introduce sample gases with a composition below the lower explosive limit (LEL) into
gas fume-proof devices (degree of protection: Ex nR). Do not introduce any combustible or
ignitable gas compositions.
Protection against incorrect use of the device
Only use the device within the voltage limits specified on the nameplate.
Note
Ambient temperature
Ensure that the ambient temperature is within the permissible range during operation.

The technical data can deviate outside these temperature limits. Operability of the device is
no longer ensured at deviations of more than 5 K.
