3.5 Interpreting results

The main window displays two result graphs. Here the DPOAE or TEOAE results are displayed as a bar
or line chart (settings dependent). The signal-to-noise ratio (SNR), the average quality (waveform
reproducibility) and overall test result (PASS, REFER, NOISY, or NO SEAL) are displayed.
This example shows DPOAE measurements for the right and left ear in bar view.
The Y-axis displays the absolute OAE level in dB SPL
The X-axis displays the test frequencies
The Blue (left ear) and the Red (right ear) indicates the absolute OAE level present at this
frequency
The grey color in the bar graph indicates the noise floor (NF)
The number at the top of each bar is the SNR (SNR = OAE level minus the NF)
The green line displays the waveform reproducibility as a percentage
