3-8. Stepping Motor/DC Motor Assembly
Removal
1. Remove the top cover. (Refer to Section 1-5-1.)
2. Remove the front panel block assembly. (Refer to Section 1-5-2.)
3. Remove the MD general assembly. (Refer to Section 3-6.)
4. Remove the helical extension spring of the tension arm assembly.
5. Remove the four screws (BVTT2.6 x 5).
6. Remove the pulley of the stepping motor from the timing belt, then remove the motor block assembly.
7. Remove the two screws (PS3 x 4), then remove the DC motor assembly.
8. Disconnect the harness from the connector (CN001) on the SU-167 board.
9. Remove the two screws (PS3 x 6), then remove the stepping motor.
