Troubleshooting guide
With constant and prolonged use of the wheelchair, or after the adjustment of certain parts, some "defects" may emerge which can easily be eliminated by qualified personnel, or, where indicated by the

Problem
The wheelchair does not go straight.
The wheelchair tips up easily.
The parking brakes do not work properly.
The wheelchair fails to roll smoothly.
The backrest does not lock.
Cause of the problem
The front forks are not perpendicular to the ground.
The castors are not set to the same height.
Incorrect or unbalanced tyre pressure.
The spokes are broken or loose.
The castor bearings are dirty or damaged.
The backrest is tilted excessively backwards.
Incorrect tyre pressure.
Bad adjustment of brake position
Incorrect tyre pressure.
Worn out tyres.
Friction on the locking pin.
The travel-limit screw is too long and it touches the frame before
locking occurs.
Solution
Check front fork angle.
Check castor height.
Inflate the tyres at the same and correct pressure
Change the damaged spokes or tighten the loose ones.
Clean the bearings.
Change the bearings.
Adjust the backrest angle to a more forward setting.
Check tyre pressure.
Check brake adjustment.
Check tyre pressure.
Change tyres.
Clean and lubricate the parts.
Tighten the travel-limit screw.
