Auto mode? If yes, the [U]p button is broken, change Keyboard (KEX card). If not, the failure seems
to be Mainboard (MEX card), or motor failure. Check that the motor cables are not damaged or
unplugged. If the display shows the WEIGHT with 1-3 bars jump to 9. If it shows high values, zero or
unstable values, the error may be due to any electronic cards. Change one at a time.

Emergency stop switch: The emergency stop switch has a brace that need to be adjusted, else the two
problem may occur. If it's correct, and power supply voltage is correct to machine, the problem might be
any of the electronic boards.
• Machine can't be turned on. It's totally powerless with dark display and Catch LED lights.
• Machine can't be turned off.
Wheel stuck: When Ex is powered off the wheel should be loose. If not may depend on...
• Mechanical: If wheel/clutch has been removed some washer might have been lost. Make sure the
washers both inside and outside of clutch rotor are mounted. Otherwise the rotor might have
mechanical contact to the clutch rotor, or the membrane plate got to tight space so it cant release the
wheel.
• Magnetic: The clutch may be permanently magnetized, dirty, rusted or corroded. Read about RP
Chapter [E45] to remove Permanent Magnitization.
Clutch: If wheel has no power when motor is running with DRAG set to 20% or more, the problem should
either be that Membrane plate is missing, or that Motor axle wedge is missing.

BATTERY LOW!

The battery voltage inside machine is too low. The alarm limit is below 10 volt. Note that if the machine is
plugged into a 24 volt system, 10 volts are very low. But Ex does is not sensitive to 12/24 system. It works
down to 10 volt wither way.
If BATTERY LOW indication appears in display, check cables, connectors, and boat battery. There is also
possibly that the machine measures the voltage wrong.

LOADING FACTORY DEFAULT SETTING

If settings gets invalid of some reason, the display shows LOADING FACTORY DEFAULT VALUES. If
user settings is required, Hold [Z]ero button 2 second and shoose LOAD.
