  • Page 8 ASSEMBLY/SET-UP INSTRUCTIONS Lawnaire IV & V CHECKING THE THROTTLE CABLE- The throttle cable is adjusted prior to shipping; however, it should be checked before the unit is put into service. The throttle control should freely move in a full range of motion forward and backward.

    CONTROLS Lawnaire IV & V HANDLE CONTROLS Transport Lift Handle A - Pushing down on the handle lowers the tines for aerating. Pulling the handle up raises the tines so the aerator can be moved or transported without incurring damage to the unit or the turf.
