Using the stove with CleverAIR™ damper
The
CleverAIR™ damper is regulated by a heat-sensitive bi-met-
al that adjusts the damper according to the temperature of the
bi-metal.
As the user is not actively able to adjust the combustion air vol-
ume. The heat is best regulated by adjusting the amount of fired
wood. The best result is obtained by following the recommended
heating model (see page 9 under "Specifications" for the recom-
mended fuel quantity and filling time)

Lighting and filling

NOTE!
If an fresh air system is connected, the valve must be open.
"Top-down" lighting
• Start by placing three or four pieces of split wood, approx.
1.5–2 kg at the bottom of the combustion chamber. On top
of this, place approx. 1 kg dry wood, split into kindling, plus
two or three solid fuel tablets or similar.
• Light the fire and close the door half way. NOTE! It is import-
ant that the wood lights quickly.
• When the kindling is burning well, close the door. After ap-
prox. 10–15 minutes, depending on draught in the chimney.
• When the last flames have gone out, and only glowing em-
bers remain, fill with two or three pieces of wood, approx.
1.5 kg wood.
• Pull the door to, and once the fire is burning well, close it
properly.
Using the stove with CleverAIR™ damper is different that with
normal damper. For example, there may be an advantage in wait-
ing slightly longer when filling with fuel, so the damper is opened
more when the stove has cooled down more since filling it last.
Generally, the door is also closed more quickly with a CleverAIR™
damper
