These appliances have been approved by SCA/HETAS Ltd as intermittent operating appliances for burning wood logs only. attika A RAIS/ wood burning stove is more than just a heat source.     If the recommended chimney draught cannot be achieved, problems may occur with smoke coming out of the door when heating. RAIS recommends that the chimney is adjusted to the flue collar. The length of the chimney, measured from the top of the stove, should not be shorter than 3 metres, and reach at least 80 cm above the build- ing’s roof ridge.

    The stove is placed on non-combustible material and is free standing on the floor. The stove may only be installed by an authorised/qualified RAIS dealer/installer other- wise the warranty is invalidated. When installing the stove, all local rules and regulations, including those referring to national and European standards, must be followed.

    English RAIS/ – User manual for Nexo Ridling grate and ash pan The stove features a riddling grate to lead ashes into the ash pan. The ridling grate moves back and forth with the handle. PLEASE NOTE! Use gloves if the stove is hot.

    • Moisten a piece of paper or newspaper, dip it in the ash and rub the sooty glass. • Afterwards, rub with a piece of paper so the glass becomes clean. • Alternatively, use a glass cleaner, which you can obtain from your RAIS dealer. Clean the exterior using a soft, dry cloth or soft brush.

Remove the smoke detector plate by tilting it backwards and turning it at a slight angle.

If the issue persists, we recommend you contact your RAIS dealer or chimney sweep. WARNING! If incorrect or damp fuel is used, it may lead to excessive soot formation in the chimney and possibly to a chimney fire.
