HANDLING INSTRUCTIONS
Front s s eats
The correct adjustment of the seats is
important for:
– reaching the controls safely and quickly
– relaxed low-fatigue body position
– maximum p p rotection f f rom t t he s s eat
belts a a nd t t he A A ir B B ag S S ystem.
Warning
For t t his r r eason, t t he f f ront s s eats
should n n ot b b e p p ushed t t oo c c lose t t o
the s s teering w w heel o o r t t he i i nstru-
ment p p anel.
Feet s s hould r r emain i i n t t he
footwell w w hen t t he v v ehicle i i s m m ov-
ing – – n n ever r r esting o o n t t he i i nstru-
ment p p anel o o r s s eats.

next two pages.

Driver's s s eat
We recommend that you position the dri-
ver's seat as follows:
– Set the driver's seat forwards/back-
wards is such a way that the pedals can
be fully depressed with a slightly
angled leg.
– Set the backrest in such a way that it is
fully against your back and that you can
reach the upper point of the steering
wheel with your arms at a slight angle.

braking m m anoeuvre.
You w w ould n n o l l onger b b e a a ble t t o

Front p p assenger s s eat
We recommend that you position the front
passenger seat as follows:
– Backrest in an upright position.
– Place the feet in the footwell in a com-
fortable position.
– At the same time push the seat back as
far as possible.
