Putting 3 3 p p oint b b elt o o n
Before f f astening o o n t t he s s eat b b elt y y ou
must a a djust t t he f f ront s s eat t t o y y our
height. S S ee t t he " " Front s s eats" c c hapter.
The inertia reel belt gives complete free-
dom of movement when pulled slowly.
Sudden braking, however, will cause the
belt to lock.
The mechanism will also lock the belt
when accelerating, driving down steep
gradients or cornering.

SEAT BELTS

Pull belt by the tongue slowly and
smoothly across the chest and hips.
Push the tongue into the locking part of
the seal until it engages audibly (pull t t o
test!).
