Correct

DO NOT
use an enhanced child restraint system in a sit
where an activate air bag is fitted.
Use this place only if it is equipped with ISOFIX and 3-point
seat belt.
8.
Adjust, or remove, the vehicle headrest, in the seat where the enhanced child restraint system is to be fastened, so that the back of
the enhanced child restraint system rests against the vehicle seat-back.
9.
The headrest on the vehicle seat in front of the child should be put in its lowest position.
SEAT BELT WARNINGS
1.
CAUTION: It is important for the child to sit properly within the vehicle seat belts. When the vehicle belt is buckled, the lap belt should
be low on the hips, just touching the thighs, and the shoulder belt should lie across the middle of the shoulder. If the child leans out or
moves the belt behind the back or places it under the arm, it will not provide the intended restraint.
2.
Make sure that you can fit no more than one finger between the harness and your baby (1 cm).
3.
IMPORTANT: Any straps holding the restraint to the vehicle should be tight, that any straps restraining the child should be adjusted to
the child's body, and the straps should not be twisted.
4.
IMPORTANT: Ensure that any lap strap is worn low down so that the pelvis is firmly engaged.
5.
Snugly adjust the belts provided with this enhanced child restraint system around your child. If straps are not snugly adjusted, the child
may be ejected from the seat in the event of an accident.
6.
If the vehicle seat belts are not routed and fastened correctly, the enhanced child restraint system may not protect the child in a crash.
7.
DO NOT allow the seat belt release button to touch the enhanced child restraint system. Accidental contact may cause the seat belt
to release. If necessary, turn the seat belt release button away from the enhanced child restraint system or move the enhanced child
restraint system to a different location.
8.
Failure to adjust the vehicle seat belts snugly around the child may result in the child striking the vehicle's interior during a sudden stop
or crash. Serious injury or death may occur.
9.
A snug strap should not allow any slack. It lies in a relatively straight line without sagging. It does not press on the child's flesh or push
the child's body into an unnatural position.
10.
When using this enhanced child restraint system, NEVER use a lap belt only. You MUST use the vehicle seat belts that have a lap/
shoulder combination.
11.
The shoulder belt MUST be routed properly.
12.
The shoulder belt MUST NOT cross the child's neck or fall off the child's shoulder. If you cannot adjust the shoulder belt to properly lay
midway between the child's shoulder and neck AND at or above the shoulder, try another seating location or do not use the enhanced
child restraint system.
13.
STRANGULATION HAZARD: Children have strangled in loose or partially buckled harness straps.
14.
NEVER use clothing or blankets that interfere with providing a properly tightened harness. An unsecured or improperly harnessed
child can come out of the restraint during a crash. Place blankets over child AFTER harness have been properly tightened.
15.
