Quickstart
This is a On/Off Power Switch for Europe. To run this device please connect it to your mains power supply. To
add this device to your network execute the following action:
1. Install the device according to the instructions.
2. Press the button 2 times quickly on the Nano Switch.

What is Z-Wave?
Z-Wave is the international wireless protocol for communication in the Smart Home. This device is suited for use
in the region mentioned in the Quickstart section.
Z-Wave ensures a reliable communication by reconfirming every message (two-way
communication) and every mains powered node can act as a repeater for other nodes
(meshed network) in case the receiver is not in direct wireless range of the transmitter.

Product Description Aeotec Nano Switch is a low-cost Z-Wave Switch specifically used to enable Z-Wave command and control (on/off) of any wall switches. It can report immediate wattage consumption or kWh energy usage over a period of time.

    ATTENTION: only authorized technicians under consideration of the country-specific installation guidelines/norms may do works with mains power.   • Page 4 In some cases, you may have some loads just only can be used on the voltage of DC24V and hope that it still can be controlled by the Nano Switch, so please refer to the following diagram to achieve this: Note: The ?IN? terminal should be connected to the ?-? of DC 24V input.

    Note: The ?IN? terminal should be connected to the ?Live? of AC 120V/230V power wire. All above wiring diagrams show that the Nano Switch uses 2-Way or momentary button switches as the external manual switch for 2-Way connection. The below diagram will show you that the Nano Switch uses the SPDT (Single-Pole Double-Throw) switches as the external manual switch for 3-Way connection.
