Filling and emptying the system
Once the hydraulic connections have been carried out, you can fi ll the heating system.
FILLING the heating system
This procedure must be carried out when the system is cold and the boiler is OFF, and
consists of the following operations:
- open the automatic air vent valve cap (A) by two or three turns
- make sure the cold water inlet tap is open

- open the fi lling tap ( B ) until the pressure indicated by the water pressure gauge is be-
tween 1 and 1.5 bar. Once fi lling is complete, close the fi lling tap.

The safety valve outlet (C) must be connected to a suitable collection system. The
manufacturer is not responsible for possible damage due to safety valve operation.
NOTE: The boiler has an effi cient air separator so no manual air venting intervention is
needed.
NOTE: The burner switches on only if the air relief phase is fi nished.
EMPTYING the heating system
To empty the system, proceed as follows:
- switch off the boiler
- connect the hose supplied as standard to the boiler drain valve ( C )
- loosen the boiler drain valve ( C )
- open the air vent valve to allow continuous air venting
- drain the lowest points of the system.

Button for selecting summer/winter mode, CH
only and OFF.
Enter Functions mode
Button for resetting the non-volatile alarm status
(press <1 sec.).
Enable/disable INSTALLER/BOILER
CONFIGURATION mode (press 10 sec.).
Exit Functions mode
By pressing the RESET and MODE buttons
simultaneously for 5 seconds, it is possible to
enable/disable the combustion analysis mode
(see "4.14 Combustion analysis").
By pressing the RESET button and the CH+
button (> 3 seconds) in normal operation (NO
lockout), it is possible to enable/disable the
preheating mode.
Pressing
