- Adjusting the CH water temperature with an outdoor temperature sensor (optional
accessory)
When an outdoor sensor is installed, the CH system temperature is adjusted according
to the outdoor climatic conditions, giving a high level of comfort and energy savings
throughout the year.
6.3
Additional functions
PRE-HEATING (FASTER HOT WATER):
This function keeps the water in the domestic hot water exchanger hot, to reduce standby
times when a request is made.
- By pressing the RESET and CH+ keys for more than 3 seconds it is possible to enable
or disable the preheating function. At the beginning of the function the display shows FH
and the pump starts immediately.
- The display shows FH and On alternately.
- Press RESET and CH+ to disable the function.
The preheating function is not available in the following cases:
- following a lockout caused by an anomaly, for a period of 10 seconds
- if a heat demand is in progress
- during post circulation of the pump.
Air vent
The circulator is cyclically switched on at maximum speed for 10 seconds and switched off
for 10 seconds to remove air contained in the circuit. During this function, the display shows
F33 and heat demand is disabled for 120 seconds.
This function can be activated under the following conditions:
- after manual reset following anomaly A02
- when the CH water pressure is restored to normal level after anomaly A04
- after anomaly A18 (circulation control) has been reset.
This function can be deactivated by pressing the RESET button for 5 seconds.

Info menu (In)

Access to the menu is not allowed with the boiler in the OF state.
Access the Info menu as follows:
- press the RESET button for 10 seconds to enter confi guration mode. "tS" begins to fl ash
on the display
- press the CH+ or CH- buttons to navigate the menu and select the Info menu (In)

- press MODE to confi rm, the display shows the fi rst Info parameter
- press the CH+ or CH- buttons to select the parameter number
- the parameter value is shown alternately with the parameter number (2 seconds each).

To exit the Info menu press RESET for 1 second, or press RESET for 10 seconds to exit
confi guration mode.

By pressing the DHW+ and DHW- buttons simultaneously, it is possible to reset the
remaining service interval.

Temporary switch-off
In the event of temporary absences (weekends, short trips, etc.) press the MODE button,
the display will show OF.
While the electrical supply and the fuel supply remain active, the boiler is protected by the
systems:
- heating anti-freeze : this function is activated if the temperature measured by the fl ow
sensor falls below 5 °C. In this phase, the circulator is activated. If the boiler is not in lock-
out, the burner is also activated at minimum output until the delivery water temperature
reaches 30°C. During the antifreeze cycle the display shows F08.
- DHW anti-freeze: the function is activated if the temperature measured by the domestic
water sensor drops below 4° C. In this phase, the circulator is activated. If the boiler is
not in lockout, the burner is also activated at minimum output until the delivery water
temperature reaches 40°C. During the antifreeze cycle the display shows F09.

Switching off for lengthy periods
If the boiler is not going to be used for a long period, perform the following operations:
- press the MODE button and select OF
- Set the system's main switch to "off"
- Turn off the fuel and water taps of the heating and domestic hot water system.

In this case, the anti-freeze and anti-blocking systems are deactivated.

Drain the heating and domestic water system if there is any risk of freezing.

Maintenance indicator (
The key symbol
on the display indicates that 52 weeks have passed since the previous
maintenance work or initial start-up, and the intervention of professionally qualifi ed personnel is
called for. In the INFO MENU (see paragraph "4.12 Info menu (In)") you can see the number of
weeks left before maintenance is required.
Resetting the maintenance countdown
Once maintenance has been carried out, press the DHW+ and DHW- buttons simultaneously
to reset the week counter, which will thus return to 5. The
display.
