Installing the CPU

1. Loosen the mounting screws that secure the heat sink to the chassis.
▪ Make sure all power cables are unplugged before you install
the CPU.

▪ The CPU socket must not come in contact with anything
other than the CPU. Avoid unnecessary exposure.

2. Now remove the heat sink to access the CPU socket, and remove the
protective film on the thermal pad. Make sure this film is removed
before reinstalling the heat sink. The thermal pad can only be used once
and cannot be used repeatedly.
3. The CPU socket is readily accessible after you have removed the heatsink.
