Step 4 Connect Power and Network Cables

The power supplies can not auto sense the voltage. If you are using
220 V power, make sure each power supply is set to 220 V. If you use
220 V power and the power supplies are set to 110 V, you will
physically damage the backplane and void your warranty.
Check the power supplies in the back of the chassis. All three must be in the "On"
position. Connect the power cord as shown below:

Step 5 Install Hard Drives

Bracket Removal To remove the hot swappable SCSI hard drive carrier, press down on the release
mechanism located on the upper part of the carrier. You will notice that the faceplate has
an indention in it for this purpose.
