PCI Bus Speed
AMIBIOS automatically configures the PCI slot. The PCI slot is synchronous with the
CPU clock:

The Intel® 810E chipset contains the following:

82810E DC-133 Graphics Memory Controller Hub (GMCH) with accelerated hub
architecture (AHA) bus
•
82801AA I/O Controller Hub (ICH) with AHA bus
•
82802AB Firmware Hub (FWH)
USB
The board supports up to two USB ports; one USB peripheral can be connected to each
port. Two USB ports are implemented with stacked back panel connectors. USB
features include:
•
support for self-identifying peripherals that can be connected or disconnected while
the computer is running
•
automatic mapping of function to driver and configuration
•
support for isochronous and asynchronous transfer types over the same set of wires
•
guaranteed bandwidth and low latencies appropriate for telephony, audio, and other
applications
•
error-handling and fault-recovery mechanisms built into the protocol
IDE Support
The StorTrends 1312 has one bus-mastering IDE interface. This interface supports:
•
ATAPI devices (such as CD-ROM drives)
•
DOM (Disk on Module)
•
ATA devices using the transfer modes listed in the BIOS table on the next page
