7 Possible Malfunctions

The table below contains descriptions of possible causes and solutions to
malfunctions or errors during operation of the appliance. When malfunction cannot
be removed, contact the technical service.
Problem
The red operation
indicator light does
not come on.
The red
malfunction
indicator light
comes on and the
appliance switches
off.

Cause
The plug is not connected to
the mains socket.
The premises connection
fuse tripped.
Damaged operation
indicator light.
Damaged heating element.
No water in the water tank,
the appliance was operating
dry.
The appliance is scaled.
Solution
Insert the plug into the
mains socket.
Disconnect the appliance
from mains supply, reset the
fuse and re-connect the
appliance.
Contact the supplier.
Contact the supplier.
Leave the appliance to cool
down, press the RESET
button, located at the
bottom of the appliance,
refill with fresh potable
water and switch the
appliance on.
Descale the appliance,
following indications in
section 6.3 "Descaling",
press the RESET button,
located at the bottom of the
appliance, refill with fresh
potable water and switch
the appliance on.
