CONNECTIONS

All connections are on the AD1562 rear panel. see Figure 2.

Video Inputs

Two pairs of BNC connectors labeled INPUTS CAM1 and
CAM2 are provided on the rear panel for separate camera
video inputs. The input connectors, the top BNC's of the pairs,
are terminated in either 75 ohms or HiZ, selectable by an
internal jumper switch (see Internal Setup). Below each input
BNC is a loop-through video output BNC connector.
Satisfactory motion detection requires that the video signals be
CONSIDERATIONS, for further discussion of video inputs.

Video Outputs

Two BNC connectors labeled OUTPUT 1 and 2 are provided
on the rear panel. The outputs provide a composite video
signal of 1V p-p. Each output must be terminated in 75 ohms.
The outputs function differently depending on the setup
configuration. The Number of Monitors option (SETUP, page
of these outputs. Video Output 1 is also used for the setup
menus (SETUP, page 4).
Alarm
Outputs
A 6-pin connector labeled ALARM OUTPUTS is provided on
the rear panel for access to an internal alarm relay and two
logic-level alarm closures that are active during alarms.
The alarm relay has Form C contacts for the control of external
devices during alarms. The contact rating for this relay is: 1A
