SETUP
TRACE FADE RATE
The TRACE FADE RATE parameter establish the rate at
which the Detection Trace dots (see Detection Trace, page 6)
fade through eight levels of intensity to the normal cell
intensity. There are three settings for TRACE FADE RATE:
FAST, provides a rapid fading of the dot intensity
(approximately l/2 second),
MED, provides tbe default trace fade rate (approximately 2-
seconds),
1/4
SLOW, provides a slow fading of the dot intensity
(approximately 4-l/2 seconds).
The default setting of TRACE FADE RATE is MED. To
change the fade rate:
1. Move the cursor to the TRACE FADE RATE line.
2. Press the LEFT or RIGHT button to cycle the values until
the desired Trace Fade rate is displayed.
'AD' CONTACT GROUP
The 'AD' CONTACT GROUP specifies the group of Alarm
Contact Numbers for alarm codes transmitted to Matrix
Controllers (see AD Contact Group, page 6). There are 16
Alarm Contact Group values, A through P (shown in the table
below). The 'AD' CONTACT GROUP setting applies to both
video channels.
The default setting of 'AD' CONTACT GROUP is A. To
change the contact group:

the desired Contact Group letter is displayed.

OUTPUT BAUD RATE
The OUTPUT BAUD RATE parameter sets the baud rate for
via the RS-232 Output port (page 2). There are four settings
for baud rate: 1200,2400,4800,
The default setting for OUTPUT BAUD RATE is 1200 baud.
To change the baud rate:
1. Move the cursor to the OUTPUT BAUD RATE line.
2. Press the LEFT or RIGHT button to cycle the baud rate
values until the desired rate is displayed.
Note: This baud rate must be set to match the baud rate of the
RS-232 port on the switcher/controller that the DuoTect-C
is connected to.
When all system modes and parameters are set as desired in
the Set System Parameters menu, press the MENU button to
exit to the Main Menu.
