Understanding the Interrupter

Indicators

The interrupter indicators are located
underneath the interrupter base. The indicators
are not meaningful while the interrupter is being
closed and charged.
If the interrupter is "OPEN" and discharged,
the indicator reads "OPEN." See Figure 71.
If the interrupter is "CLOSED" and charged,
the indicator reads "CLOSED." See Figure 72.
