CAUTION
DO NOT wrap fl exible conduit around the
interphase shaft, or the vertical operating
shaft, or attach conduit to any moving parts
of the Circuit-Switcher. Keep conduit runs
and conduit hangers clear of the drive train.
Damage to the Circuit-Switcher and
conduit will occur.

Prepare sections of conduit to connect the ³⁄₄–14
NPT conduit tap on each interrupter junction
box to the ¹⁄₂-14 NPT conduit tap on the
associated charging motor, along with the
entrance plate of the Mark VI CS-1A Switch
Operator. See Figures 34 and 35. Refer to S&C
Data Bulletin 712-60 for wire specifi cations.
Refer to the wiring diagram and erection
drawing for required conduit length and
placement. Refer to the conduit manufacturer's
recommendations for sealing and joining
conduit sections.
NOTICE
If S&C-supplied pre-wired conduit has
been furnished, with the Mark VI Circuit-
Switcher, refer to the erection drawing for
details on the conduit placement.
