is a way of measuring
how advanced
decoders might
perform in decoding a
particular barcode. A
low multiScanInt
metric may indicate
many different
problems, as it is a
general measure of
code quality.
Signal To Noise Ratio
(SNR) is a relative
measure of the
Symbol Contrast to
the maximum
deviation in light or
dark grayscale levels
in the symbol (ie.
noise).
Horizontal Mark
Growth is the tracking
of the tendency to
over or under mark
the symbol, that is, a
horizontal size
comparison between
the actual marked
cells vs. their nominal
size.
Vertical Mark Growth
is the tracking of the
tendency to over or
under mark the
symbol, that is, a
vertical size
comparison between
the actual marked
cells vs. their nominal
size.

is the average width
of each cell in the
matrix (in pixels).
