[Basic Setting] Menu

[Basic Setting] window

1. Access the [Common Installation Setting] menu, then click [Basic Setting] on the
tab bar.
2. Select the [Equipment ID] from the drop-down list (setting range: [ECD001] to
[ECD016]).
The [Equipment Name], [Equipment Type No.], and [IP Address] are automatically
entered according to the Equipment ID. For details, see the Equipment ID list at
the back of this manual.
Note 1: For the first ECDIS, set [Equipment ID] to "ECD001".
Note 2: Assign a different [Equipment ID] to each unit in the network.

Sets the equipment ID, monitor, printer and own ship
information.
Enters the ship's parameters and sensor positions.
Sets the system configuration and input/output data.
Sets the priority of the sensors and NMEA sentences.
Not used for FMD-3100.
Sets the AMS and relevant settings.
Sets the alerts.
Sets the interlocking system between units.
Saves and synchronizes the settings. Settings can also be
saved to a removable medium.
Confirms the system condition.
Updates the software.
Performs the factory test or restores default settings.
Configures the mini-conning display.
