Explanation
7. Select "Start" to trigger a pipetting
sequence. Follow instructions on the
touch screen.
a) Place source plate onto the tray
b) Bring column selected for aspi-
ration of liquid into position
under the pipetting tips if nec-
essary (use spring lever to shift
the table as appropriate)
c) Set height level of pipetting
head required for aspiration
d) Press button "Pipetting" at the
touch screen or push-button
"pip" on the left-hand side of
the support base
e) Move pipetting head up
f) Place target plate onto the tray
and bring column to be filled
into the correct position (use
spring lever to shift the tray as
necessary)
g) Set height level of pipetting
head required for dispensing
h) Press button "Pipetting" at the
touch screen or push-button
"pip" on the left-hand side of
the support base
i) Move pipetting head up
j) Repeat steps "f" to "i" as many
times as required to execute all
defined dilution steps
k) Place residual volume reservoir
onto the tray
l) Press button "Pipetting" at the
touch screen or push-button
"pip" on the left-hand side of
the support base
