    General information CyBio FeliX Intended use The device is a simultaneous pipetting system (depending on model version or pipetting head from 1 to a maximum of 384 channels) and intended for the automatic processing of microplates. The system's range of applications is limited by the functional scope of available software and firmware and by the scope of delivery.

    Safety instructions CyBio FeliX Danger areas The movements of assemblies can pose a risk to the operating personnel. Failure to observe warning notes may result in pinching or crushing of one's hands. Any interference with the instrument during operation can cause material damage to the instrument and the specimens.

    CyBio FeliX Safety instructions Protective devices The open external E-STOP* signals that a monitored room - outside the device - is accessible (e.g. the door of an enclosure is open). Requirements On Personnel  The system may not be started up, operated or maintained other than by duly trained Requirements that arise from a expert personnel having received instructions on operational safety.

    Safety instructions CyBio FeliX Safety Notes for Operation 2.8.1 General  Operating personnel are obliged to convince themselves of the proper technical condi- tion of the system and its components, including any safety devices, before they can proceed to action for powering up. This applies in particular after each modification or extension of the system or its repair.

If a maintenance contract is in place, the Analytik Jena GmbH service department will perform an O-ring replacement at each visit.
