Valve stem maintenance
NOTE: To maintain the overall longevity and control accuracy of the actuator,
it is recommended the valve stem be serviced twice a year.

Turn the actuator off by fl ipping the circuit breaker located
at or near the junction box supplying voltage to the device

Remove the actuator and actuator assembly and then loosen
the stem completely by turning it anti-clockwise

Apply lubricant to the thread of the valve stem (recommended
lubricant is TAS-100EP solid fi lm lubrication grease)

After applying the lubricant, tighten and loosen the stem a
few times by turning it clockwise and then anti-clockwise
repeatedly (2-3 times)

After re-coupling the actuator and valve, switch it back on
again. Provided the control signal shown in the display is
"6o-0", it should work normally.

Remove the 3 screws holding the actuator mounting
assembly in place using a hexagonal wrench

Place the actuator and assembly back onto the stem
and then tighten the screws again
