INSTALLATION
Mounting Options
The RW205 receiver has three options for mounting:
• Mounting on a standard 2" x 4" device box. The RW205 backplate contains mounting
slots for vertical installation. See Figure 1 below.
• Mounting on the inside surface of a PTAC wiring enclosure. Mount through device box
holes with (2) sheet metal screws. See Figure 1 below.
• Mounting behind a cutout in a PTAC wall. The RW205 backplate incorporates screw
bosses capable of supporting the part behind a cutout in the PTAC enclosure. See
Figure 2 below. A cut-out template for this type of installation is included in your RW205
package.

CONFIGURATION AND WIRELESS CONNECTION
To operate the HVAC equipment, the RW205 receiver must receive instructions from a
TW205 or TW206 thermostat. The thermostat display enables access to the Service Menu
to perform the confi guration and wireless connection.
After wiring and mounting of the RW205 is complete, refer to the document "TW205 / TW206
Installation & Operating Instructions" for confi guration and wireless connection instructions.
