4.3 BusAdapter BA 2xFC
Installing a BusAdapter to distributed I/O
To connect the PROFINET IO to the device via the BusAdapter BA 2xFC, proceed as directed
in the following figures:

Push back the locking slide.
Open the cover of the connection element.
Flip up the wire guide until it stops.
4a Insert the insulated single wires of the PROFINET IO cable (according to the printed color
coding) all the way into the wire guide.
4b Lay the cable shield on the shield contact.
4c Flip the wire guide firmly down until it stops.
5a Close the cover of the connection element.
5b Slide the locking slide forward until it stops.
