Setting the IP Address

Press 1 and then Enter to see the PDU information. The default network settings are:
IP Address – 192.168.0.1
Netmask – 255.255.255.0
Gateway – 192.168.0.2
DHCP is enabled by default and if the PDU is connected to an Ethernet network with a
DHCP server, an IP address will automatically be assigned. Check your router for
connected clients and to identify the IP address assigned. The default name for the
device is PDU. See figure 24.

It is possible to disable DHCP and enter a static IP address. To access the PDU with its
default network setting, make sure static IP addresses are allowed in the network. Also
make sure that no other clients are using that IP address. If it is not possible to use the
