Launch and use the BACnet Configuration Tool
1. Navigate to the BACnet Configuration Tool (Start/
Programs/DaikinApplied/Chiller BACnet Configuration
Tool) or double-click on the desktop icon, if present.
2. When the Configuration Tool opens, the BACnet MAC
Layer Select dialog box appears
3. Select both BACnet MS/TP and No Router options and
click OK.

NOTE: If you have trouble opening the MS/TP portion of
the BACnet Configuration Tool, make sure the COM
port on the PC is available and working properly,
then verify that the BACnet Configuration Tool is
using the same COM port. The default COM Port for
the Configuration Tool is 1. See
additional tips.

4. Verify that the Daikin Applied BACnet Configuration Win7
v2.30 or newer BACnet Device appears and the BACnet
Device tab is selected

Set Network Parameters
It is now possible to set the Device Instance Number, MS/TP
Station Address (i.e. MAC Address), Max Master, and Baud
Rate (in that order).

revision AmBCM-16 - BmBCM-485-15g support 62

4. Verify that the Read/Write Status field counts up to
100%. Once this is complete, the MS/TP Station Address
and Max Master fields become populated with values
