9. Insert the plug-in connector to the communication
module.
10. Replace the cover on the serial card slot. Slip the cover
over the network connector plug
11. Insert the network cable connector into the
communication module.
12. Connect the communication module to the network:
(Figure 14 and Figure
a. Connect positive (+) wire of the network cable to
Pin 2 of the connector plug.
b. Connect the negative (-) wire to Pin 3 of the
connector plug. Note that no wire is connected to
Pin 1 (GND).
13. (Optional) Install the ferrite-lined plastic enclosure on the
network cable for noise reduction
