Problem
The display "Add dishwasher
salt"
(7) will light up
although dishwasher salt has
been added.
The water is not running or it
is running only very slowly.
The water is not running off
or only very slowly.
The dishwasher is not
watertight.
The dishwasher can be
switched on/off, but not can-
not be operated.

Possible cause
The dishwasher salt is
clumpy.
There is a kink in the inlet
hose.
The water tap is not on
properly.
The filter is blocked.
The outlet hose is kinked,
has been extended or is
hanging too high up/too low.
The door seal is defective.
The outlet hose or the inlet
hose is defective.
The dishwasher can only be
operated when the door is
closed.
Solution
Turn the water tap on completely.
Arrange the inlet hose properly so that it is not kinked
(see "Connect the inlet hose" on page EN-27).
Ensure that the water pressure is correct (see "Technical
specifications" on page EN-35).
Switch off the tap. Find the gap in the seal (or have someone
find it) and repair the leak (or have it repaired).

Solution
Stir the dishwasher salt
using the end of a spoon or
similar.
Arrange the inlet hose prop-
erly so that it is not kinked
(please see "Connect the in-
let hose" on page EN-27).
Turn the water tap on
completely.
Clean the filter (see "Check-
ing and cleaning the filter" on
page EN-24).
Lay out the outlet hose in the
proper manner
(see page EN-26).
Have the door seal replaced
(see "Service" on page EN-33).
Have the defective hose
replaced (see "Service" on
page EN-33).
Close the door.
