Residual heat indication

After switching off a heating zone or the hob, the heating zones are still hot: the symbol [ H ]
is displayed. It disappears once the heating zones may be touched without danger.
As far as the residual heat indicator is on, do not touch the heating zones and do not put
any heat sensitive object on them. There are risks of burn and fire.

Timer

The timer can be used on the 4 heating zones simultaneously with different time settings (from 1
to 99 minutes) for each heating zone

Start timer
Control panel action
Once the hob has been switched on, press the selection
key to select the heating zone
Press [ + ] / [ - ] to increase / decrease power
Press simultaneously [ - ] and [ + ] to activate the timer function
Press [ - ] to decrease the time
Press [ + ] to increase the time
A flashing dot appears next to the power level. The time is confirmed and the countdown starts.

Stop timer
Control panel action
Press the selection key to select the heating zone
Press simultaneously [ - ] and [ + ] to display the remaining time
Press [ - ] until [ 0 ] to stop the timer
When the timer function is activated on several heating zones, repeat the process.

Automatic stop at the end of the cooking time :
As soon as the selected cooking time is finished the timer displays blinking [ 00 ] and a sound
rings.
To stop the sound and the blinking it is enough to press any key.

Egg timer function :
Control panel action
Press the key for a few seconds to switch on the hob.
Press simultaneously [ - ] and [ + ] to activate the timer function
Press [ - ] to decrease the time
Press [ + ] to increase the time
After about 20 seconds, the displays go off but the timer's countdown will continue.
As soon as the selected time is finished the timer displays blinking [ 00 ] and a sound
rings.
To stop the sound and the blinking it is enough to press any key.
