    Operating Instructions Power ON/OFF Turn the meter on by pressing the POWER button. To turn the meter off, press, hold and release the POWER button when OFF appears on the LCD. Calibration Press the ANGLE button to select the right measuring geometry. Place the unit into the included calibration standard.

    When single mode is selected, the measurement indicator will only appear at the top right of the LCD when a measurement will be taken by the user (see Taking Single Measurements section for details). Measuring Geometry Gloss is classed as either low, semi or high gloss. In order to determine the best measuring geometry for your test start at a 60° angle as it is considered the universal measurement angle. The angle is selected based on the anticipated gloss range, as shown in the table below.
