Key-timer Setup

Configuration>Key-Timer
The Key-Timer functions as a menu activity timeout timer. While in the menu system, if there is not key
or rotary knob activity for the selected time-out period, the DLC50 will exit the menu system and return
to the normal display. The default key-timer value is 20 seconds. Values of 10-60 seconds may be
selected, or the time-out timer may be disabled by selecting "off".

System Functions

Configuration>System
The system menu will allow the user to read back the firmware version of the DLC50. (Some
transmitters and receivers will also report their firmware versions to the DLC50 and may also be
reviewed in this menu.) The "Restore Defaults" option can be used to recover from a bad configuration
file load or in some cases, may be required when updating software. Selecting the "restore defaults"
option will overwrite any configuration settings that have been entered. It is recommended to save
configuration to the USB flash drive before restoring defaults.
