F8 REPLACE SOUND
About the replace sound function

■ This takes a sound from a disk and puts it in a par-
ticular sound number position within the multisound
selected by F1.
The length of the sound within the multisound does
not change. S o if a shorter sound is gotten from disk
and used for replacement, there will be some left over
area. (See diagram.) Likewise, if the replacement is
longer, then the excess is thrown out.
Previously set loop start/length and sound start/
length parameter values are all cancelled and return
to initial (d e fault) values.
• The multisound name appears when you operate the
DATA E N T R Y A controls,
• At the same time, the E N T E R key L E D flashes to in
dicate standby for selection.
