Managing calls

General
All calls made by a Chatter™ Data Logger are managed via call lists. A call list is a combination of a call type and
a recipient. Two different call list exists, one for scheduled data calls and another for alarm calls. Each of these
call lists handles six calls.
Alarm calls are executed immediately when an alarm condition is detected. All entries in the alarm call list are
called starting with the first entry.
Data calls are scheduled. They execute at an interval, not at specific times. If more than one data call is
scheduled for the same time, they are executed in sequence, staring with the lowest numbered call interval.
If a call is unsuccessful, the Chatter™ Data Logger will wait two minutes before retrying. A total of
two retries will be attempted. If the call still is unsuccessful, no further calls to the failed entry in the
call list will be attempted until the next scheduled call time. The Chatter™ Data Logger will
continue with the next entry in the call list.
This retry method applies to data calls as well as alarm calls
