Description
Connector board cable (includes double-sided adhesive)
Before removing the connector board cables, follow these steps:
1. Shut down the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn
the computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system.
2. Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer.

Remove the connector board cable:
1. Release the zero insertion force (ZIF) connector (1) to which the connector board cable is connected, and
then disconnect the connector board cable from the system board.
2. Release the ZIF connector (2) to which the connector board cable is connected, and then disconnect the
connector board cable from the connector board.
3. Detach the connector board cable (3) from the keyboard/top cover. (The connector board cable is attached
to the keyboard/top cover with double-sided adhesive.)
4. Remove the connector board cable (4).
Reverse this procedure to install the connector board cable.
