Description
For use only on computer models equipped with an Nvidia RTX 2060 or GTX 1660 Ti graphics controller
For use only on computer models equipped with an Nvidia GTX 1650 Ti graphics controller
Before removing the heat sink, follow these steps:
1.
Shut down the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn
the computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system.
2.
Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer.
3.
Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet, and then
unplugging the AC adapter from the computer.

Remove the bottom cover (see

Remove the heat sink:
1.
Remove the two pieces of tape (1) that secure the tape to the keyboard/top cover.
2.
In the 1 through 7 sequence stamped on the heat sink, loosen the seven screws (2) securing the heat sink
to the keyboard/top cover.

Remove the heat sink (3).
