Heat sink
Before removing the heat sink, follow these steps:
1.
Prepare the computer for disassembly
2.
Place the computer in "Battery Safe mode"
3.
Remove the bottom cover
4.
Remove the battery
Remove the heat sink:
1.
In the order indicated on the heat sink, loosen the four captive Phillips screws (1) that secure the heat
sink to the system board.
2.
Lift the heat sink from the system board (2).
