Installation and Use
Prior to installation, plan your system:
1. Ensure all PFAS equipment is selected and deemed compatible with Concrete Anchor Strap by a Competent
Person.
2. Select installation location for Concrete Anchor Strap. Selected installation location MUST be structural rebar
deemed compatible by a Competent Person, and must be capable of withstanding minimum application loads
as specified by this instruction manual.
3. Make considerations for eliminating or minimizing swing fall hazards.
Installation:
1. Install by sliding Rebar Loop end over embedded structural rebar, OR by wrapping Concrete Anchor Strap
around structural rebar and pulling D-ring through Rebar Loop.
2. Position Concrete Anchor Strap between forms before pouring concrete.
3. Concrete must be fully cured prior to use.
4. Attach complete and compatible PFAS to Concrete Anchor Strap D-ring.
5. If exposed to forces of Fall Arrest, if no longer in use, or if past product lifetime, IMMEDIATELY remove
Concrete Anchor Strap by cutting it off at concrete seam.
