    Introduction Thank you for purchasing a Guardian Fall Protection RDRL. This manual must be read User Information and understood in its entirety, and used as part of an employee training program as required by OSHA or any applicable state Date of First Use: agency.

    Product Specific Applications Use of equipment in unintended applications may result in WARNING serious injury or death. NEVER make connections to RDRL. Rescue/Confined Space: RDRLs may be used in Rescue/Confined Space applications. Rescue systems function to safely recover a worker from a confined location or after exposed to a fall. There are various configurations of Rescue systems depending on the type of rescue.

    Competent Person. ALWAYS MAINTAIN 100% TIE-OFF. Installation: WARNING NEVER make connections to Rapid Deployment Rescue Ladder rungs. 1. Place Cross Arm Straps over selected compatible anchor point. Cross Arm Strap labels must face up.

    6. Unravel RDRL over edge of fall hazard. Maintenance, Cleaning, and Storage If RDRL fails inspection in any way, immediately remove it from service, and contact Guardian to inquire about its return or repair. Cleaning after use is important for maintaining the safety and longevity of RDRL. Remove all dirt, corrosives, and contaminants from RDRL before and after each use.

    Inspection Log Date of First Use: __________________. Product lifetime is indefinite, as long as product passes all inspection require- ments. User must inspect prior to EACH use. Competent Person other than user must complete formal inspection at least every 6 months. Competent Person to inspect and initial.

    Combined worker weight (including all equipment): 130-620 lbs. Use for Rescue applications ONLY. A full and independent PFAS is REQUIRED when using the Rapid Deployment Rescue Ladder. All PFAS connections must be selected and deemed compatible by a Competent Person.
