6.9 Harness System Removal for Booster Car Seat Installation

1. Remove the harness loop ends from
the splitter plate and pull harness
through the seat back.
2. Remove pillow and harness covers
(Fig. 93b).
3. Remove chest clip and buckle tongue
on child's left side and set aside
(Fig. 93b).

4. Leaving buckle tongue in buckle
on childs right side, pull webbing
from child left side to completely
remove the harness system from
car seat (Fig 94a).
5. Remove insert if being used
(Fig. 94b).
6. Adjust seat to full recline postion
1. Locate buckle metal stamping
and push through bottom of
car seat. Pull buckle with metal
stamping through car seat fabric.
7. Insert buckle tongue into child
left side, thread webbing through
buckle, chest clip and harness
covers (Fig. 94c).
8. Store pillow, insert, harness
covers and harness assembly in
dry cool area for future use.
